Hi Susan
Happy to hear this helped…
A comparison with manufacturer’s color charts might be something I’ll do in the future 🙂

I do love a creative challenge, but am grateful because your page saved me years of experimentation in at least understanding my paints more. It also helps explain some of the exorbitant pricing differences out there. I wonder if it would be feasible to post links to the major paint producers’ color charts and details needed? I hope to mix some of my own granulating paints…but is it worth it?

Hi Chris
If you take a look at the image of the manufacturer’s chart above you’ll see that a lightfastness of “I” = excellent…
But the vocabulary used to express lightfastness varies depending on the manufacturer… So it’s best to check the legend on each brand’s color charts 🙂

What is the scale? does is go to 5? 100?
